SAGE Line 50V v24 Email Button - RESOLVED

This function used to work!!

For some reason when I try to use the Email Button to directly send an Invoice, Sales Order or Purchase Order, it says it cannot Generate the Report saying The Report File cannot be found.

I have checked the Email Defaults but non of the reports are ticked. I try ticking them and saving, but when I go back in, non are displaying a tick.
(is this normal?)

If I press Print and then use the Email Button there it will export to Outlook OK, I presume because the report has been selected.

I updated Windows 10 to version 1803 yesterday and it worked OK on my main PC, until I updated my other PC (2 Users). I don't know if it coincidence?


I have tried to reinstall Sage to see if that would cure the problem, but now I cannot because it fails saying there is a problem with .NET
I think the install tries to Install .NET 4.6 but fails because I believe Windows 10 is now using .NET 4.7?

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorted it. :)

Need to go into Invoice & Order Defaults, then Email and reselect each report. (Strange that it did actually show each report)


Still not sure if I can reinstall Sage if I need to since the Windows 10 update. :?

If you alter the paths to the layouts, then the paths to the layouts will also need to be reset for Email/Quick Print.

When you upgrade Sage will on some occasions, move the data to a new directory causing this issue.

You should be fine upgrading to Windows 10.
