Banking reconcile crash

Post by stevechase » 23 Mar 2018, 09:59

Hi

We are running Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2012. Version number 18.1.0.20

And yesterday for no reason at all when we go into BANKING, RECONCILE and enter the parameters the system freezes. Everything else as far as we can see is absolutely fine. If we run a 'check data' at the start when logging on, it gets to 'BANKING' and the progress bar stops and the screen freezes.

It all points to something in the banking part, can anyone shed an light onto this please

Many thanks

Steve Chase

One of the things that happens when you reconcile is that a pdf of the reconciliation report is made.

Check you can export files to PDF on the pc that had the issue.

Does it prompt you to use a saved reconciliation?

Have you run the reindex and compress option, if not backup and try it.
