Re: Why the SAGE Designer forum is locked for me
It's not just you, I cannot access it either...
I can't imagine Bruce would have a problem if you posted any queries in the main forum.

Re: Sage 50 company overwritten, recovered files, no backup
All the missing information is in separate data files so, for example customers are in SALES.DTA and suppliers are in PURCHASE.DTA - all the data files are held in the ACCDATA folder so, if that was recovered, all the data should have followed. Unless you can recover the entire contents of the ACCDA...

Re: sage v16 new pc restore
If you run Check Data, do you get any errors? Were there any problems with the restore?
If the answer is no to both questions then it would suggest that you have restored an old backup...

Re: MS 7 pro with Sage 12.01
If you go for the 32bit version of Windows 7 you should be OK, it is the 64bit version that causes problems.

Re: "In the red", is it possible to be "in the green "
You can't control the font at all - you could sort by balance so all the credit accounts appear in order but the UI can't be changed.

Re: missing customer invoices from list
Try the following: 1. Find the SAGE.INI file - assuming an install on Vista/Windows 7, this will be in c:\programdata\sage\accounts 2. Open the file in Notepad and look for a section that starts [SG50] 3. Below that, add a line - CompressUsingFileSize = 1 4. Save the file 5. Go back into Sage and ru...

Re: Bank_Flag and Bank_Reconciled_Date Fields
Does it not strike you that there is considerable redundancy in Sage data structures? I would have thought that the bank_flag field should appear once only.
