Re: Sage Line 50 and LibreOffice Base
I seem to remember the Data Pilot didn't work, this is because Sage uses a delimiter in the ODBC driver that makes the SQL ambiguous. What I found was that you could do the query, in MSQuery with Excel, then copy the SQL and it works fine. I have not used LibreOffice for a long time so I can't ...

Re: How to omit a specific product from appearing on Sales order layout?
Hi It is a little unclear what you are trying to do. The first section ITEM_NUMBER Header is typically there just to help line things up. If you click on it's heading you should see it has a filter on it set to false to prevent it ever printing. The next 2 sections have filters so that one print ...

Re: v16 installation Issues
That suggests that your Sage is of an age that it doesn't care about the version watermarks, perhaps you can just use it as is, without the bother of reinstalling. The difference in version numbers seems pretty insignificant. Getting old programs to install is a right PITA there are no warranties or ...

Re: v16 installation Issues
In my installation, I am on version 16.0.14.147
You must have got an update that none of us have anymore.
The only thing I can suggest is uninstalling all the version 16.0.17.0158 installs and reinstalling them all as 16.0.14.147

Re: Struggling to find Field Data / PDF formatting issue
See your detail section
It has a huge white area between it and the report footer.
Drag the bottom of the details section (top of the footer section) up so it is tight to the fields and this will resolve the gap.

Re: Struggling to find Field Data / PDF formatting issue
The huge gaps are probably a large section, just move everything up close and it should be good. There is no annual salary in payroll, the amount a person is paid can vary form week to week or month to month. You could approximate an annual salary by multiplying the period salary by 52 (or maybe 53 ...

Re: Password rejected.
If you want to install legacy app onto Win 10/11 then the secret is to install them somewhere other than the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder. I typically create a fold called ProgramFilesXP. Windows introduced extra restrictions on the Program Files folder that legacy applications do not ...

Re: Password rejected.
Version 10 was a long long time ago so not so easy to help.
Can you access the demo data?
If not then I suspect that sage was installed by a different user, deleting the RSA crypto keys might resolve it.
In windows 11 they are in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys

Re: Correct Tax Codes - Duty & VAT
You do not want to take advice on this from the Internet. You need to consult a fully qualified professional accountant or HMRC for an answer. In my experience, it all comes down to what needs to be shown as turnover on the VAT return. If it needs to show as turnover and there is no VAT, then T0 ...

Re: Stock Quantity By date
You would need to work it out from a current stock take and then the movements that have happened since your target date.
I attach my retrospective stock valuation report which you could amend to give you stock levels instead of value.

Re: Importing Invoices to Invoice Module
Assuming a standard pre existing format could be used, then you are looking at £185 per year. The standard customisation expects Account_Ref, Stock_Code, Qty, Unit Price. If you need a bespoke customisation then you have an additional one off cost of about £85* It is installed using an installer p ...

Re: Allocating stock to a sales order
From the help file:- Allocating a Sales Order When importing a Sales Order, item allocation can be adjusted automatically by turning on some settings in the interpreter and populating some additional 'SOP_ITEM.QTY_*' fields. N.B. You should be confident that the allocations are possible. If you use ...
