Printing VAT reports on Sage 50 2009

I can calculate the VAT with no problem but I am unable to print anything. When I hit the print button it just gets stuck - it doesn't get to the box where it should ask which reports I want and if I want to preview or print. Eventually I give up waiting and try to close the box but it just comes up ...
