When i open the clients sage it takes me directly to the active set up wizard as i have tried to install my later v onto his.
If i go through the set up and try to restore the original data it sends up an error message about v of sage?

Sorry, i mean 25 companies!

Yes i took a back up of the clients original data. How do i restore this as i have tried and it wouldn't restore. Is it something to do with the accdata?

I am not sure what v my client is on.

I don't remeber a warning when i restored the clients data onto mine.

I guess i have just come accross my answer by browsing over old topics on here........you can restore to a newer version but not go back!

So where does this leave me? If my client can't find his original disc does that means he has lost everything? If he has it at least i can restore his original ...
