I actually meant accdata folder not file.
I have done the process over and over with no success ie Checkdata Reindex and compress while in sage 50 accounts 2010- checkdata again , i get 0 errors but 63 comments.Then i back up. Uninstall sage 50 accounts 2010 and install ...

Below are the steps i have followed. am using Windows 7


sage 50 Accounts professional 2010 16.04.113

1) Check data ---------------- No errors
2) Re-indexing and data compression.
3)A fresh back up

sage 50 Accounts professional 2012

1) Fresh installation

I have run check data and done a fresh backup in Accounts professional 2010. There is 0 errors found o warnings generated and 63 comments made.
After that i have done data reindexing and compression.

When i try a restore in sage 50 Accounts professional 2012 ...

We are trying to restore sage 50 Accounts professional 2010 backup to sage 50 Accounts professional 2012. The backup restore is completing successfully but the application just freezes at the point of ' access rights conversion'. What could be the problem?
