Re: Invoice layout per department

Thanks as ever Bruce.

The only issue I have now is setting up the print filters.
I had amended the layout from the invoice tab within the original test sales order that we created. Can I assume that invoices are generated to go out to the customer from the invoice module?
I did look in here and ...

Invoice layout per department

Good afternoon Folks

Is it possible to set Sage 50 to use different invoice layouts for goods dispatched from different departments within Sage by default?

We use two distinct departments within Sage, one of which requires specific information on the invoice and the other doesn't.
I can adjust ...

Hi Bruce

I'm certainly no web developer!

I'll have a look at Tradebox, thanks again.

Zynk

Hi All

Anybody on here used Zynk to integrate stock levels, sales orders and pricing from Sage 50 to an opencart website?

Cheers

Re: Attributing external costs to products

Cheers Bruce

I have experimented with this and it is a realistic option, probably the option we will have to use. On a software package I used previously there was an option to tie the shipping P.O. to the parts P.O. and the cost of shipping was split evenly across the quantity of parts, thus ...

Attributing external costs to products

Good morning All

We frequently import goods, mainly from the E.U. but occasionally from the middle or far east.

More often than not we arrange the shipping ourselves as A: it is cheaper and B: we can organise it to suit our own needs and capacity.

Is there any way to attribute the shipping costs ...

Re: Default entry into analysis field

Cheers Bruce...again!

We already generate the CSV for DPD from a report I created myself, I'll try adding that line into the relevant field and see how we go.

Thanks again

Default entry into analysis field

Hi All

I'm looking to have a default entry applied to every sales order we enter into one of the analysis fields on the Order tab of a sales order.

The reason for this is that we do an export of every order dispatched into our courier's system (DPD) and they need an input on how many parcels we ...

Re: Picking List Sort

Hi Bruce

After reading your advice I went back for another look (after a cup of tea). I removed the STOCK.STOCK_CODE footer all together, altered the sort's and hey presto I have the result I'm looking for.

Thanks for your valuable insight...again. Have a great weekend.

Re: Picking List Sort

Hi Bruce

Looking at the results I have had during several tweaks of the sort settings the report is always sorted by the stock code. I have altered the data fields into the order we want them to appear in the page.
Our stock locations are currently a four digit numerical system (1111 to 9999) but ...

Picking List Sort

Hi All

I am trying to introduce the use of the picking list facility from Sage 50 for our warehouse team. We are moving to a "new improved" warehouse and I would like the team to do their picks by a walk route.
As our stock locations are all numerical(1111 to 9999) at the moment, I thought it would ...

Re: CSV File Creation

Bruce

You are wise as ever, it is most certainly not straightforward. However after discussing the options with the optimistically named Sage Support Centre, I managed to get a report created in the required format.

Frustratingly I have found that this report is only available on my computer, when ...
