i finally found an answer, it was a security setting that had to be changed by the admin.

"My Dashboard" Tab missing
I have Sage 50 US, running on windows 7. I have multiple companies and the My Dashboard tab is there in one of them, but not the other ones. I can not find an option anywhere to add this tab. I am probably missing something, but 20 minutes for searching has brought no results. Please help!
