I know about the choices of MAPI/SMTP/Outlook, mine was set to Outlook as it is for sales orders and invoices. I changed it to MAPI and the same occurred. I don't want to use SMTP.

Currently I've got a strange problem where when I click email on any of the layouts under the invoice module, it says 'the report has successfully output to e-mail' but when you go to drafts in outlook nothing appears? However when you email something from the sales order list it works fine ...

Right I've some how got it to work....well I've noticed that this exporting to email per customer only works if the the grouping is at the very top. But I'm having to deal with a tiny gap above and below the letterhead, which isn't too bad but it works perfectly now. Thanks for your help.

But now the invoice parts are all over the place...is it possible to have that grouping but keep the invoice the way it is? I've attached the invoice I'm working on that would have a letter head and logo on it. I just want to keep it so it's always a4 ...

Oh and I've just upgraded the system to 2013 (Sage version 19.00.11.0263, Report designer 1.4.2012.41) and the same problem occurs. Should I just instead of trying to seperate them all by customer, just change the email to send entire report, and just make sure I only select the same customer?

I tried that and it doesn't work either, I had originally changed it so a couple of the text boxes appeared in account_ref header but it didn't work.
I'm using version 18.1.0.20 of sage and report designer 1.3.2011.30.

I have tried grouping by invoice.account_ref, sales_ledger.account_ref and company.companyid (which I think is just my companies ID but worth a try. Doesn't group by customer when I try any of them.

Well its actually the same problem as the original topic, I thought I had solved the problem, but I still couldn't have emails per customer.

All I can get it to do is send the invoices split by invoice number or as one whole invoice. When I try and group by customer, the invoices don't appear in my inbox. This is quite strange as I can get statements to split up into multiple emails sorted by ...
