I have a back up of Sage from a 2012 version, which I am trying to restore with a 2011 version of Sage. It opens the company, but with no information in it. Is it because of the different versions that I am experiencing these problems? Is there a way to do this?

I am having trouble with my bank reconciliation on Sage. The balance on my closing bank reconciliation does not agree to my nominal ledger.
How can this be? Can anyone help?
