Alt-tab problem

Post by rhyven » 16 Apr 2009, 23:00

Hi everyone,

I've got a client with a strange problem. When she presses alt-tab to switch in and out of Sage (either L50 or Job Costing), the screen will at times go black for a moment - between about .5 and 2 seconds. Then it comes back and everything is fine.

This only seems to happen when one of these two Sage programs are involved.

Does anyone have ANY idea on what could cause this? I haven't seen anything like it in my 10 years in IT.

Thanks! :D
- Eric

Please confirm:-

It always happens when Sage is running, even if switching between other applications.
Closing Sage and then switching between applications it does not happen.

Can you download and run hijackthis (link below) and post the resulting log here.

Thanks Bruce,

Sorry for the slow reply - I haven't yet been able to recreate the problem (it only happens intermittently, and I haven't been on site for a while). Did at over 100 alt-tabs just now and issue didn't arise, if it comes back I'll reply in this thread again.

Thanks again,
- Eric
