My company recently purchased Sage 50 2011 (v17) Pro. edition. My company imports products from the Far East and the majority of our suppliers quote us a price per piece (e.g. 0.1234/pc). We have found that supplier price lists only caters for up to 2 decimal places (e.g.0.12). Whereas every other area of the programme caters for up to 6 decimal places (e.g. 0.123456). This means that I can't accurately record a suppliers quote to us.
Has anybody else experienced this problem, If so how did Sage help them or how have you got round this problem ?
I have spoken to Sage regarding the problem but there not very interested. I feel it's a flaw in their software design and should be treated as such but they want me to register it on their "customer wish list" for consideration in future versions !
Any comments would be gratefully received.
