Help with converting reports!

Post by carltonkellie » 26 Apr 2010, 12:25

Hi,
I have Sage Line 50 2010 installed on my XP Pro computer
Im trying to convert old reports from our old Sage 50 v12, but everytime i try a box comes up saying
"sage line 50 ODBC connect"
"Enter ID and password"
but I can't open it with the Manager - Manager username/password combination or my normal log in. I just get that the password is incorrect. I have tried all other passwords that I can think of and also of course no password at all.
What else could this be?

If its impossible to open/convert them now, then can anyone advise me on how to get a certain report to arrange itself by customer name? ive tried puting a sort on it, but it still wont do it :( im not sure if its grouping that is what i need? not sure quite how to do that.....

Thanks

you appear to be doing the right thing

My thought is that perhaps the "use data path" for reports option is having some sort of effect.

Are you using the Tools>Convert Reports option?
