Hi,
My employers accountant is trying to send me a data file as an email attachment and its a zip file type ADS ? We tried to import it into sage and tried .xls extension choosing transactions but nothing works. Please help as there are 2 months transactions (sept, oct 2019)e.g. supplier invoices I dont want to have to enter in again.
If this file can only be restored, then I will have lost all my current data ?
TIA

Re: Importing Data File
I think you will have to go back to your accountant.
There are 2 typse of import there is the accountants link import which is an .saa file
instructions for this are here
https://my.sage.co.uk/public/help/askar ... leid=27180
The other is a "standard" import, this is either an excel worksheet or a csv file. These are imported using File>Import.
More details on this type of import are here
