Hi, I'm a new Sage user & my query is:
If you purchase an item an one price, create a customer invoice, look into the 'Profit Analysis' the cost price is correct.
Now I can purchase the item cheaper for another customer, I've updated the product price, but I don't want it to alter the profit margin on the first invoice, is there a way to do this?
Thanks

Re: Product Cost Prices
There are multiple ways of looking at cost prices, in the stock module there is a GO transaction and this has the Actual cost price of that item in a FIFO basis.
It sounds like you are looking at a report that is using the last cost price or average cost price, you just need to write/fined/use a different report, the data is there, just more complicated / difficult to access some bits than others.
