Product Problem

Post by Northernred » 05 Nov 2010, 22:11

Hi,

Thanks for the help on the last problem, worked a treat. Next problem is our system work best if we don't allow it to allocate stock we don't have. So we can't have negative stock. Problem is we want to set up some product on xmas promotions, and it would work best if we could allow just these products to be sold into a negative stock, is it possible to set these products up to go into negative stock, whilst keeping the rest the stock on the restriction?

Many Thanks

NR

No

BUT

If this is a one of promotion, then you might not need to count the stock. If this is the case then you can enter the stock code as a non stock item and you can sell as much of it as you want.

(Non stock is really for things like labour where there is no stock control needed)
