Can anyone tell me if either of the above programs can automatically post prepayments and accruals?

I would use the test drive of Instant to find out as I don't have it installed.

Only it is not working at this time.

I tried the test run and there is a Nominal Ledger for both prepayments and accruals in both programs but couldn't find where to set it up. Phoned the help line, the person who answered thought that Instant Accounts plus had this facility, and passed me through to the technical team where I ended up in a queue where an automated voice informed me it would take 25 mins to answer my call. I hung up.

There is almost ALWAYS going to be a nominal code for them, you can do them manually, indeed I would always prefer to do them manually.

I just logged in and there are no button for them in the nominal ledger, so I can categorically state that they are not there

If you wan tto do them manually and understand what is going on rather than blindly trusting the software...
